Candidate Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are the terms of the contract formed between each person (“I” and “me”) registering as a candidate with Just-R Limited (“Just-R”) and Just-R Limited.




1.1. I acknowledge that, for the purposes of The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (“Conduct Regulations”), in seeking employment for me, Just-R will be acting as an employment agency. I will have no contract of employment at any time with Just-R. 

1.2. I understand that Just-R will put my details forward for posts which, in their reasonable opinion and based on the specifications and information I give it, Just-R reasonably thinks will be of interest to me. I accept that there is no guarantee that Just-R will put my details forward for any given post or that any offer of employment will be made to me as a result of Just-R putting my details forward.




2.1. I declare that the information in my curriculum vitae (“CV”), written references and other information from interviews or telephone conversations provided by me to Just-R are true and give an accurate and complete view of the details relevant to those considering me for employment.

2.2. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure my CV and all other information provided by me to Just-R are kept up to date at all times. If any of the information I have provided changes I will promptly let Just-R know by contacting Just-R.

2.3. I understand that I can contact Just-R to check what information is held on me to ensure it is accurate and up to date, and that I can then amend, update or delete any inaccurate information.  Just-R’s privacy notice explains what data Just-R collects and how it is used. 

2.4. It is my responsibility to ensure that any referees I list are aware that I have forwarded their details to Just-R and that they may be contacted by prospective employers. I confirm that these individuals have consented to be my referees and to the use and disclosure of their details in the stated manner.  I consent to Just-R confirming to my prospective employers that they may pursue and take up my references. 

2.5. I authorise Just-R to disclose information including my CV and references in respect of an application or a speculative submission of my CV for a position to persons, companies or organisations who may be seeking to employ me. I am aware that in the event the information requested by Just-R is not supplied by either me or other persons or bodies, or is not satisfactory, then Just-R unlikely to put my details forward to a prospective employer. I authorise Just-R and/or any prospective employer to contact my previous employers and/or persons who have engaged me to provide information related to my employment with them. This information is to be used as a part of my application for work.  Just-R will not contact your current employers without your consent.

2.6. If I have been employed or engaged by a client of Just-R and the information is found to be inaccurate or misleading I accept my employment may be summarily terminated and Just-R may refuse to offer its services to me in the future.




Just-R will endeavour to obtain suitable employment for me to perform work of the type specified by me but offers no guarantees either that such a employment will be found or that it will be found by me to be suitable.




4.1. I acknowledge and agree that relevant personal data will be collected from me by Just-R and my personal data will be used to manage my registration with Just-R and subsequent job applications. I consent to relevant personal data being passed to prospective employers but on the basis that such information shall only be used by them for the purposes of recruitment, selection and appointment.

4.2. I understand that I can request to export my personal data in a commonly-used or useable format at any time by contacting Just-R.

4.3. I acknowledge that personal data will be stored and processed by Just-R fairly and lawfully in accordance with all relevant data protection legislation and that reasonable and appropriate measures are taken by Just-R to ensure that my personal data (including the information on my CV) is protected from unauthorised access or modification, unlawful destruction and improper use.  




5.1. I agree that if Just-R incurs any costs relating to visa applications and/or medicals required to gain a work permit/employment and I subsequently withdraw from any employment offer that I have accepted; or if I terminate my agreement with Just-R without accepting an offer of employment, I am liable to repay these costs. I understand that no other costs are payable by me in respect of the provision of employment agency services to me by Just-R.

5.2. I accept that Just-R may cease to provide the recruitment services to me if my conduct is such (whether before, during and/or after any placement/attempted placements) that Just-R (in its sole opinion) no longer wishes to provide me with recruitment services, including but not limited to where any engagement with a client of Just-R’s is terminated due to my misconduct.

5.3. I confirm that Just-R may retain my application and may continue to use it until I advise it that I am no longer seeking employment through Just-R. I understand that approximately 1 year after my last contact with Just-R my account and all data associated with it will be deleted. I understand that I may terminate my registration with Just-R at any time, in which case Just-R will permanently delete my account and all data associated with it.

5.4. I accept that the contract between myself and Just-R is governed by the law of England and Wales law and that any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

5.5. I understand that this contract is personal to me but I consent to Just-R assigning or sub-contracting its rights and/or obligations under this contract to third parties.

5.6. I accept that Just-R will have no liability to me for any loss of profits, business or revenue,  economic and/or other loss that is not reasonably foreseeable by Just-R at the date of this contract. However, nothing excludes Just-R’s liability for death or personal injury due to its negligence, fraud or any other liability which it cannot exclude as a matter of law. 

5.7. I understand that I can get information about my legal rights from my local Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
