Just R drives over 100 applicants to Virtual Recruitment Event for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust

The challenge 

The Trust has welcomed 17 new members of staff, and has a pipeline of qualified, interested applicants, thanks to a bespoke recruitment campaign for an online open day.

With social distancing restrictions in place, this year has proved difficult for employers needing to meet and hire prospective new colleagues. Stockport NHS Foundation Trust had a need to recruit newly qualified and experienced nurses to teams across several departments, including Surgeries, Theatres, Medicine, Community & District Nursing, Women’s & Children’s Services and Urgent Care ED & AMU.

The team was keen to hold a Virtual Recruitment Event, to ensure they could recruit a pipeline of trained and qualified professionals whose values matched those of the Trust: to Care, Respect and Listen. The event would feature details about the departments which were recruiting, progression opportunities, and would offer online interviews to candidates on the day.

The solution

Creating engaging and eye-catching content and visuals

Stockport got in touch with Just R, who got to work creating a digital recruitment campaign with bespoke imagery and content. The social media posts directed interested applicants to a landing page where they were encouraged to leave their details to find out more about opportunities at the Trust, and its Virtual Recruitment Event.

Our content team spoke to members of the Stockport team, whose enthusiasm for their roles, patient care and colleagues shone through. Short video scripts were created for them to read to camera, which were featured throughout the campaign.
