NELFT attract over 130 AHP’s through collaboration with Just R

Since collaborating with Just R in 2021 NELFT have accrued a pipeline of 139 values aligned, pre-screened and qualified Allied Health Professionals including: Art Therapists, Drama Therapists, Music Therapists, Dieticians, Operating Department Practitioners, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Radiographers, Speech & Language Therapists and Social Workers. 

NELFT employs over 900 Allied Health Professionals across 11 professions, who play a vital role within the Trust, accounting for around 15% of their workforce, you can find out more about NELFT’s AHP team on their careers website created by Just R.

The need for AHPs has never been greater; with Paramedics, Podiatrists, Radiographers, and Speech & Language Therapists being the highest in demand vacancies. Despite their campaigns not directly focusing on the AHP workforce, NELFT were able to accrue such candidates passively through their strong employer brand created by Just R as well as values based attraction and retention strategies, plus an attractive, easy to navigate careers site.
