And this month has certainly seen our team develop, grow and continue on their career journey within Just R….


Rachel Lightfoot has been instrumental in creating the success of our one-to-one candidate conversion and onboarding support services and is now leading the team that delivers candidate retention and exit interviews. Not only has Rachel introduced helpful guides on how to use our bespoke RPM system, she has really strengthened relationships with clients through weekly catch up calls and is always receiving texts and emails updates – keeping both the candidates and clients feeling engaged throughout the the campaign lifecycle ensuring the end result is the best it can be.  It’s the little things too, Rachel has introduced branded thank you cards to send through to our client once the campaign has come to an end. This has a QR code taking our client to a survey so they can give us feedback that allows us the continuous improvement that’s at the core of our values.

 In light of all this, Rachel has been promoted to Candidate Success Manager with immediate effect.

And also from that team, our resident forensic psychologist, Isobel Akien has really made her mark with her fantastic candidate and client management skills. However, she has such a broad range of talents that she has also been promoted to Digital Account Manager and joins the digital team at the beginning of July. Isobel will be learning from the team as she goes and we have no doubt she will be an integral part of creating successful campaigns that have a true impact for our clients.

We also have our ‘new’ Copywriter Sam Young. Sam has been with us since the early days when it really was Just R. (Just Rachael) as creative account manager and has helped deliver many of our successful campaigns, delivering great results for our clients.  Sam’s passion however, lies in the more creative sides of his role and we believe that keeping people tied to a specific list of an original job spec doesn’t bring out the best of their abilities, or help deliver the best work for our clients. So, as an excellent master of words Sam will now be focusing on creating those wonderful stories that really engage and inspire the right people for our clients.

We are so proud of the team that is growing to support our work – our experience is that developing a great team is its own reward, valued team members, working together really do produce outstanding results for clients.  In turn, those clients come back to us for new campaigns and recommend us via word of mouth and social media to other Care organisations who face similar staff attraction and retention challenges.

And, of course, we can then tell our clients how we do it ourselves!
