Brand new Endoscopy unit fills all nurse vacancies in less than 3 months following successful recruitment advertising campaign!

The team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Trust came to us in February with a need to recruit experienced Endoscopy Nurses for the imminent opening of their state-of-the-art new Endoscopy Unit, the need was to recruit 19 qualified nurses in order to open the unit with full establishment.

Prior to contacting Just R the Trust had trialed a variety of advertising methods such as radio, outdoor, newspapers and buses with little success and were in need of an effective solution to their growing recruitment need.

This is exactly the type of challenge that the Just R team love to be involved in! Having a clearly defined need with a deadline to work towards enables us to plan effective campaigns that we can prove are successful.

We developed a targeted digital advertising campaign, which included the design of a fresh recruitment brand #TeamNNUH, which was delivered across Facebook and Instagram directly targeting the experienced Gastro nurses that were needed to open the unit. Applicants were encouraged to register interest and pre apply online to arrange an interview slot for the open day on 14th April.

Over the 2 month period the campaign delivered the following results:
The campaign reached over 150,000 people
The amount of people that engaged with the campaign was over 5,500 over a 2 month period
The campaign generated 48 email applications

From beginning to end the campaign was delivered in under 2 months and due to geographical restrictions developed entirely via online and telephone meetings, further proving that the Just R team can deliver effective campaigns for clients regardless of their geographical location.

Due to the success of the initial campaign Just R will now be working alongside #TeamNNUH for the next 12 months. Delivering targeted advertising to fill current vacancies across a wide range of departments within the Trust as well as working on the design and development of a brand new recruitment website.
