A bold and creative video shoot for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Trust (UHMBT)

Did you know that job listings with video receive on average 34% more applications than postings without? Just R’s latest project with University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Trust (UHMBT) involved the creation of a bold, creative and innovative video shoot, which will spearhead the team’s next recruitment drive.

 

The video features shots of the local area, drone shots taking in sweeping views of the local countryside, and interviews with Trust team members to offer real insights into the people, hard work and forward-looking aims of the Trust.

The Just R team has been working with UHMBT for more than two years, delivering tailored recruitment campaigns to ensure that the Trust has a strong, ongoing pipeline of band 5 nurses to fill vacancies as they arise. On average, the campaigns generate 30 applications each month and allow the Trust to have greater control in building its future workforce.

As part of this year’s campaign, we created a recruitment video to promote the values of UHMBT and bring to life the stunning Bay region. The Trust felt it needed to differentiate itself from large city Trusts, and promote the region as a tranquil, fun and breathtaking place to live. The team wanted to promote the Trust’s five values – Patients, People, Partnerships, Progress and Performance – through the video.

In addition to featuring key members of the Trust teams Just R also utilised footage of the Bay Area through the use of drones to bring to life what it is like to live as well as work in this beautiful, and often underrated, part of the UK.
