My role as Senior Candidate Consultant entails: supporting and training our wonderful team of Candidate Consultants; managing the campaign enquiries; developing the Recruitment Pipeline Management (RPM) system; running reports; liaising with clients;  and collaborating with the digital team to spot campaign trends and drive improvements, to ensure that each and every candidate has a positive experience.

Before starting my career at Just R, I graduated from the University of Cumbria with a degree in Primary Education. I decided that I didn’t want to follow the traditional route of becoming a teacher but I still wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives. After spotting an advertisement in the local newspaper about the business’ commitment to hiring graduates, I gave Just R a call. Shortly after, I started my role as a Candidate Consultant on the Graduate Rotational Programme. Then, I secured a permanent position at Just R; and have been promoted to Senior Candidate Consultant. It has all been a bit of a whirlwind but in the best way possible!

I joined Just R because its values, motivations and culture really appealed to me. I marvel at the extraordinary work that the NHS delivers; and I want to help in any way that I can. I believe that my role helps to recruit caring and compassionate healthcare professionals who can go on to save lives. Also, I love being part of a team of knowledgeable, supportive and passionate people; and it’s really empowering to have Rachael as the CEO. It’s also great that we all spend time outside of work getting to know each other, as well; and at Just R, there is a real emphasis on holistic wellbeing. We enjoy yoga, run club, book club, team lunches and so much more! In short, Just R is an absolutely fantastic place to work.
