Junior Project Manager

Jennie 01

I am a Junior Project Manager here at Just R. I assist Sophie with her Project Management duties and manage one of our digital campaigns. I am also part of the wellbeing team, and my role involves championing our internal employee wellbeing initiatives such as Vitality health insurance, run club and yoga as well as providing quarterly nutrition consultations to the team.

I grew up in the Lake District and spent most of my teens either running or climbing all over the place before I moved to Sheffield to complete my undergraduate degree in Nutrition, Diet & Lifestyle. I then returned to the Lakes during the pandemic and began working as a Climbing Instructor and Freelance Nutritionist. I was at a real crossroads between wanting to find a career in the Lakes (because I love it here!) and wanting to leave to complete a masters degree as there just weren’t many appealing career opportunities in the area, until I came across Just R.

I was attracted to the opportunity and challenge of working in a young, progressive company with a far greater purpose than your average 9-5, not to mention the added bonus of being based within a stones throw of my beloved lakes and fells! Just R has certainly not disappointed. The business really was not something I expected to find in Cumbria, but I am so very glad I did.
