Reaching Senior Nurses with gtd Healthcare

Our work with gtd healthcare took on the aim of attracting candidates to Senior Nursing vacancies within their organisation.


Our collaboration with the organisation saw us look to recruit hard-to-fill Senior positions. Over a 2 month campaign, our aim was to generate awareness of the organisation through the amplification of their employer brand, resulting in a number of enquiries for the roles available: which included Head of Nursing, Clinical Service Managers and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.

The Challenge


This was our second time working with gtd healthcare, meaning we could build upon an existing employer brand and strengthen this through focused key messages and insights for this particular campaign.


The challenge we faced this time round was in attracting individuals that met the high band requirement for the roles needed, the Just R team worked alongside the team at gtd healthcare to create a campaign that would engage and appeal to the creme de la creme of candidates.

How We Did It.

Through a combination of design, digital advertising and candidate engagement, the campaign came to life. Before launch, we worked with the team at gtd healthcare to design an identity that combined their existing branding with something fresh, utilising a contoured ribbon shape and paper texture across the identity. A deep dive into the organisation allowed us to gather insights from existing staff, bringing to light key messages and statements that show why gtd healthcare is such a great place to work, such as: “we put our people at the heart of the organisation”, and “we’ll support you to achieve your fullest potential”. Our expert photography team visited the organisation to capture authentic images of those who work at gtd – after all, the most important asset to your employer brand is your people!

Driving Candidates to Apply.

Once live, Just R’s digital advertising team managed the social media page made especially for the recruitment campaign. Through the power of social media, our campaign targeted both passive candidates (those not currently looking for jobs) and active job seekers, while building up brand awareness.


Potential candidates were driven to a landing page where they could register their interest in the organisation. This is what really sets Just R apart from other recruitment channels; we know that one of the reasons why people give up on applications to healthcare jobs is because of the ridiculous length of time it takes to apply (and this is before thinking about the time taken to get to the next stages of the process). This is why we developed a system that allows us to quickly gain interest, and then filter and track prospective candidates. The candidate engagement team at Just R are responsible for contacting applicants and pre-screening them prior to next steps, bolstering the employer brand and further encouraging conversions.


The results of the campaign were that 20 enquiries were received, including 12 Qualified Nurses. The campaign reached 534,376 people, and this number will continue to grow. Working with Just R means you are provided with a long standing employer brand that lasts. We are not a quick fix, and are here to work alongside organisations time and time again.
