Successful recruitment website launch for North East London NHS Trust

North East London NHS Foundation Trust came to Just R to create a brand new recruitment website to highlight the wide range of career opportunities within the trust, across a number of service areas and geographical areas.

The Challenge

Create an attractive and user-friendly recruitment website to highlight the career opportunities across the North East London NHS Foundation Trust. 

NELFT covers a wide geographical area. Serving a population of 4.9 million across North East London, Essex and Kent. They have a wide variety of positions available across Mental Health and Community services. 

The website will be a central hub for the trust to promote their career opportunities, values, culture and benefits. Aiming to serve a wide-range of potential candidates both internally and externally.

Traffic will be driven to the recruitment website via social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.

The Solution

An informative and engaging recruitment website. A strong brand identity. And a key message – “Routes into NELFT”.

Having previously worked with NELFT, producing social media campaigns for a number of services, we established a need for a dedicated careers recruitment website. But to produce a stand out website, we must first produce a stand out brand. 

Just R tackled the project from a holistic, brand-focused perspective. Producing colourful branding to reflect the many areas and opportunities available at NELFT, which can be used across the recruitment website and within the social media campaign.

As well as focusing on the many vacancies within the Trust, we wanted to emphasise the diverse pathways into the roles. Offering Return to Practice pathways, Apprenticeships and being an Armed Forces Covenant Trust, the organisation is incredibly accessible to those wanting to develop their career into the healthcare sector. We chose to highlight this through creative imagery and the tagline ‘Routes into NELFT’.

Recruitment Website

Visually striking and user-friendly. The recruitment website is a central hub for potential candidates to know all about the Trust and the opportunities available. 

Covering a broad range of services, departments and areas, the website has a single focus to drive exceptional candidates to the organisation. From the get go, the website proved a success, gaining 1400 website visitors within the first three weeks of going live. We continue to work closely with the Trust, maintaining the website. We also provided a training session with the client to allow them to make changes and update the website independently.

Social Media 

To gain traction and drive valuable traffic to the careers website, we strategised a compelling social media campaign. Our campaign runs across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The targeted campaign had a successful start, gathering 71 enquiry form responses within the first three weeks of launching. Of those potential candidates, 17 have since completed application forms.

We’re excited to watch the campaign progress and continue to be a cost-effective recruitment process for the Trust.
