Developing ‘Better With You’ Careers Website for Bay Health and Care Partners

Better With You Website

The challenge

Serve content to a wide range of potential candidates

Bay Health and Care Partners (BH&CP) are nationally recognised for being models of care. They represent 10 health and social care providers across the Morecambe Bay area and their shared vision is about helping their communities to enjoy great physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Our brief was to develop a user friendly recruitment website that could be accessed by both potential candidates and partner organisations in order to advertise and apply for jobs across the partnership.

Example jobs included GPs, Gardeners, Nurses to Receptionists.

The solution

Not just a website. A stronger brand identity too.

We extended the project so that the team would benefit even more from the development of a new site –  working into the brief a strong brand identity that could be used across the new website as well as ongoing advertising and communications.

We developed a number of visual themes to represent Bay Health & Care Partners. The chosen theme was a pathway which translated really well into a short explainer video. Using this video enabled us to define within a couple of minutes what the organisation stands for, as well as summarising how to use the site for a new user.

Recruitment Website

A simple to use, informative website

A three month project from start to finish and the final results are simple to use – an informative website that has the ability to grow as the organisational needs change. It hosts all job opportunities available across the NHS and Public Sector Healthcare sectors within the Bay area. It’s simply a one stop shop for a wide range of users.

We track the statistics with a focus on how many users complete an application and where they’ve come from. This means that we understand the best channels to promote future vacancies.

Social Media

Using the insights gained from the current staff, our expert content team also identified key themes and carefully crafted supporting content to further draw potential applicants interest. This focused on communicating both the benefits of joining the Trust and showcasing the unique elements the local area has to offer.
